There’s an old adage about the weather in the Capital District.Β  If you don’t like the weather, wait 20 minutes and it will change.

Seems that way this week – we’ve gone from subzero temperatures to the high 50’s low 60’s in the span of a week.Β  Last time I saw the temperature change that quickly, Linda Hamilton and Pierce Brosnan were starring in that Dante’s Peak movie about the soon-to-be-active volcano near a major metropolitan area.

Thankfully, we don’t have any active volcanoes in our area.Β  But we do have great blogging and great reading, so let me share that with you today.

Let’s start with some articles from the Times Union’s group of community bloggers.

  1. Jess Winans’ blog, “Rating perfectionism.
  2. Rob Hoffman in the “Hoffman Files” blog, “Hello 1984, it’s 2018, we need to talk.
  3. Jaye McBride’s blog, “If I buy a car in Albany, it won’t be because of the commercials.
  4. Senator Jim Tedisco’s blog, “On the front line of the cyber-war.

  6. Assemblymember John T. McDonald III’s blog, “My concerns about the proposed Employee On-Call Regulations.
  7. Maud Easter’s “Waging Peace” blog, “Women March Again – January 20th!

And now let’s take a peek at my blogroll and see what’s there, shall we?

  1. Rob Madeo’s “Keyboard Krumbs” blog, “The Truth About Cats and Dogs.
  2. Aaron Bush’s “Aaron Knits” blog, “Spinning Jacob.
