We have an amazing crop of blogs this week, and they really deserve your attention.  As per our Saturday formula, I’ll list seven blogs from my community blogging friends at the Times Union, and then seven blogs from my blogroll.  And if you have any suggestions about blogs or bloggers that I should include in this list, by all means let me know.

  1. Zombie Blog Update – 250 words a month is that so hard?

A total of 19 Zombie-qualified blogs this week. The most egregious examples of the Times Union’s absolutely juvenile editors who apparently just do not bother enough to do their job:

    1) Winner of the “TU Webmaster Must be A High School Student Because This $#!t is Juvenile Award: “The Observation Deck” says it has not been updated since 2/1/2017 – but Jay Jochnowitz posted something in July.

    2) Winner of the “Ok, Enough Now” Award: Dowd on Drinks Last Update: 12/15/2016 – It was his farewell blog. I think everyone got the memo by now.

    3) Winner of the Erin Pihlaja Memorial Award for Assiduous and Conspicuous Underachievement In WHAT IS YOUR JOB Award – We have two finalists this time: The Guilderland blog Last Update: 9/14/2016 and Bethlehem NY Last Update: 9/14/2016
